A Case of the Torsion of the Bicornuate Uterus in Pregnancy

Abstract

|
|
A case of the torsion (clockwise rotation : 180) of the bicornuate uterus in pregnancy is reported with review of literature. Uterine torsion during pregnancy is very rare.
In a case investigated, uterine apoplexy (Couvelair e uterus) and necrotic edematous swelling of the affected adpexa were noticed. A brief summary of the uterine torsion in pregnancy and congenital anomalies of the uterus were reviewed.
